All Nature Has A Feeling

All nature has a feeling: woods, fields, brooks
Are life eternal: and in silence they
Speak happiness beyond the reach of books;
There's nothing mortal in them; their decay
Is the green life of change; to pass away
And come again in blooms revivified.
Its birth was heaven, eternal it its stay,
And with the sun and moon shall still abide
Beneath their day and night and heaven wide.

by John Clare (found in Calm: Calm the Mind. Change the World.)

Location: Fairy Falls, Waitakere Ranges Regional Park (Smaller Upper Waterfalls)

Time of Day: Midday

Weather: Sunshine, blue skies, and warm with a bit of cool wind.

Mood: Excited, inspired, and happy.

Camera/Lens: Canon 5D MKII + 50mm f/1.8; iPhone 6s photo + video

Reason for going: Adventure with Britney (featured in some photos)

Fails: We were originally going to go to another forest but realised when we got out there that it's not really for public access... Also we didn't go all the way down to the big waterfall because we probably wouldn't have been able to make it back up - getting back to the car from where we were was tough enough.
